Vice President of ICT Society
During my course of study in the School of ICT in Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP), I took part in the Co-Curriculum Activity (CCA) called ICT Society and was nominated to be one of the Vice Presidents in the club. I helped the club by stepping up as the Planning Leader for the annual Compulsory Student Orientation Programme 2020 and also as a Camp Commandant for the annual Compulsory Student Orientation Programme 2019
Finalist of Build On, Singapore 2019
During my course of study in the School of ICT in Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP), I was one of the finalists for the Build On Singapore 2019 Hackathon organized by GovTech, IMDA, Singapore Polytechnic & AWS. Alongside with my other team members in Team Quantum, we attempted to create an automated parking system using the features provided by AWS Cloud
Edusave Award for Achievement, Good Leadership, and Service (EAGLES) Award 2018
During my course of study at the Institute of Technical Education (ITE), I was awarded the EAGLES award in the year 2018. Aside from focusing on academics, I was also eager to pick up leadership qualities such as stepping up to the Vice-President for the ITE College East Cross-Country Club. I was also eager to participate in multiple service-learning opportunities to give back to the community.
Completion of a 6 month Internship Programme at Quann
During my course of study at the Institute of Technical Education (ITE), I was attached to Quann Singapore Pte Ltd as a student intern as part of my compulsory internship component in my 3rd year of study. At Quann, I interned as a Cybersecurity Analyst in the Network Operation Centre(NOC) and Security Operation Centre(SOC) and also performed engineering level hardware troubleshooting.
Gold Service Star Award 2017
During my course of study at the Institute of Technical Education (ITE), I was awarded the Gold Service Star Award in the year 2017. Consistency in achieving competition titles for ITE College East's Cross Country team, and also excellence in my academics has made this award achievable. It was really a unique experience gaining this award
2017 CDC & CCC - ITE Scholarship Award
During my course of study at the Institute of Technical Education (ITE), I was awarded this award as part of my good academic grades and also a contribution to the school. I was part of ITE College East's Cross Country team and took part in various competitions and sports meets. The excellence in both academics and non-academic areas in my course of study has made this scholarship achievable. It was an honor to receive such a remarkable award.
Platinum Service Star Award 2016
During my course of study at the Institute of Technical Education (ITE), I was awarded the Platinum Service Star Award in the year 2016. The Service Star Platinum Awards are given to only 0.25% of ITE College East's student cohort, and students who receive this Platinum Award have made outstanding contributions in at least one of the areas such as Arts and Sports Excellence, Environmental Care, Service Excellence in School/Community. In that year, alongside my other ITE CE Cross Country runners, we were able to clinch the 'B' Division Championship after having to surrender it in the year 2015 with just a few points away.
